Ruby Pub & Hotel - A lively pub hotel with live entertainment, Hilton mattresses, and proximity to The Amex Stadium

Ruby Pub & Hotel provides accommodation in Brighton & Hove, a 10-minute drive from Brighton city center and 45 km from London Gatwick Airport. Rooms feature Hilton mattresses with Egyptian cotton linens, soundproofing, free high-speed Wi-Fi, and tea/coffee facilities. The bar serves traditional pub food from lunchtime onwards, with a weekly pub quiz and live music events. Guests can book sections of the pub for private events, and buffet catering is available. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from The Amex Stadium and the Universities of Sussex and Brighton, with bus stops nearby for city-wide transport.

Pros

The bar hosts weekly pub quizzes and live music events.

Rooms include Hilton mattresses with Egyptian cotton linens.

Proximity to The Amex Stadium and universities makes it convenient for events and visits.

Private event spaces can be tailored with buffet catering.

Cons

The bar/restaurant does not serve food on Mondays.

Some rooms may face city streets, which could be noisy for light sleepers.

“This family-run establishment impresses with its helpful staff and recently renovated, clean rooms; plus, its location is ideal for football fans visiting the Amex stadium. A comfortable bed and powerful shower make for a restful stay after the match. I believe it's a practical choice for those prioritizing a friendly atmosphere and convenient access.”
